Antepli Baklava is the product of a family story shaped by the courage, imagination, and family ties of three brothers. Necip Alkurt (deceased), Mehmet Alkurt, and Mustafa Alkurt, despite following different paths, shared a common dream. The eldest brother, Necip Alkurt, contributed to his family through trade abroad, while the middle brother, Mehmet Alkurt, worked as a teacher in Türkiye. The youngest brother, Mustafa Alkurt, graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department.
When Mehmet Alkurt moved to America, a childhood dream, he was met with persistent requests from his friends to make baklava while selling Gaziantep's famous pistachios. The worldwide fame of Gaziantep baklava made him question the idea of producing baklava in the USA. Driven by this vision, Mehmet Alkurt, with the support of his brother Mustafa Alkurt, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, decided to join forces with his older brother Necip Alkurt to turn their dream of producing high-quality baklava into reality.
This joint venture of the brothers gave birth to the Antepli Baklava brand. Necip Alkurt's international trade experience, Mehmet Alkurt's business knowledge in America, and Mustafa Alkurt's engineering skills have combined to create Antepli Baklava, one of the rare companies in Türkiye that comes to mind when it comes to quality baklava, and which today ships wholesale to 250 different locations in the USA. Antepli Baklava is a success story where a family dream has turned into a delicious reality.
